The Cleveland Plain Dealer examines The Healthcare Survival Guide

November 18, 2009

The Cleveland Plain Dealer takes an in-depth look at The Healthcare Survival Guide and the benefits it provides to modern healthcare consumers November 14. Metro columnist Regina Brett, who the day before interviewed coauthor Martin Rosen on Cleveland’s 90.3 WCPN, writes that The Healthcare Survival Guide “offers common sense help … [and] solid advice.”

Brett goes on to say that healthcare consumers wield more power than ever, but they need the knowledge and resources to properly utilize that power – and that’s where The Healthcare Survival Guide comes in. “Once upon a time,” she writes, “the insurance companies or Medicare or Medicaid paid for our health care and we didn’t need to know what it cost. We do now. We should all be players.”
