May 25, 2010

We are thrilled to announce that our book, The Healthcare Survival Guide, won the Bill Fisher Award for Best New Book (Nonfiction) at the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Awards Gala last night, May 24, at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. The book bested two other titles in its category for the award, which was presented by the Independent Book Publishers Association prior to the BookExpo America Conference.
A panel of nearly 180 judges from throughout the publishing industry weighed and evaluated more than 1,400 submissions in 50 categories to create the list of more than 150 finalists for the 2009 publishing year.

Congratulations to coauthors Martin Rosen and Abbie Leibowitz, M.D., and a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make the book happen!
